In Revelation 14:6-7, the first angel’s message reads:

And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people, saying with a loud voice, Fear God (keep His commandments), and give glory to him (reflect His character); for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters (Exodus 20:3-11)!

This is a call to humanity to return to the true worship of the Creator. Flee worldliness (1 John 2:15-16), put your faith in Christ, His Beloved Son in Whom He is well pleased, and through the Holy Spirit, keep His holy and eternal ten commandments, which reflect His love and character (Exodus 20; Revelation 14:12 and 1 John 5:3). It is our duty to keep the holy and eternal ten commandments of God (Ecclesiastes 12:13).

If we break any of God’s holy and eternal ten commandments, we sin yet Christ says “go and sin no more” (John 8:11). Therefore, through the guidance of the Holy Spirit, we must observe the law of God if we are to be His since His law governs New Jerusalem where no sin is found (Micah 4:1-3; Revelation 14:12 and Revelation 22:14). Keep the holy and eternal ten commandments of God now in anticipation of what to expect in heaven where His law rules. His holy and eternal ten commandments, spoken by the Word Who became flesh in the New Testament – Jesus Christ – are found in Exodus 20:3-17.

1 John 2:3:4 - And hereby we do know that we know Him, if we keep His commandments. He that saith, I know Him, and keepeth not His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.

Thankfully, by the grace of God, the holy, pure and sinless blood of the Lamb of God takes away our sins upon repentance (1 John 1:9). So by faith in the Son of God and through the power of the Holy Spirit, let’s follow Christ’s instruction: go and sin no more!

May the Most High and Source of eternal life bless you in your walk with His Son, Jesus or Yeshua the Christ!
